Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operators – Underground Mine

Pay: $20.00/hour for first 30 days, then ability to increase up to $28.57/hour

    About the Job

    MLC has various heavy equipment in the underground mine such as: Haul truck, loader, skid steer, mechanical scaler, grader, and jumbo and crawler drills.

  • Haul stone or screenings to specific locations within the mine.

  • Load product on haul trucks for transportation to the crushing plant.

  • Operate the boom scaler to safely and productively remove loose material in the mine.

  • Grade roads as required.

  • Drill heading and roof holes for powderman to load.

  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections.

    Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Heavy equipment operating experience (preferred)

  • Ability to work days, evenings, and midnights, including weekends and holidays.
